Play sound one by one automatically.

Export resulting mp3 file to other disk location.

Delete

Attach or edit notes to mp3 file which you selected. illustrated below.

Click will pop up below window, you can select microphone,line-in,stereo mixer.

1.Record sound from microphone.


In MP3 Recorder XP, click source button, choose microphone checkbox, plug microphone in the mic in of the computer's soundcard, and then click record button and speak to microphone. When you finish, click stop button which is next to record button.
 

 

2.Record sound from line in
In MP3 Recorder XP, click source button and choose line in checkbox. Get the signal source ready, for instance, a tape recorder or a FM radio. Use a line-to-line wire to connect the line-out or ear of the signal source with the line-in of the computer's soundcard, and click MP3 Recorder XP's record button, then click signal source's play button. When you have finished, just click stop

 

3.Record sound being played by other windows program

For example, if you want to record BBC News from internet radio. you just open MP3 Recorder XP and click source button. it will pop up a dialog like following. and select Stereo Mixer.then click MP3 Recorder XP's record button. Run the other windows program to let it play sound. When you finish, click stop.

Click Option button will popup below dialog.

  • select default sound data directory

In MP3 Recorder XP, click option button, and click change dir button

then you select your folder. Remember, you must enter (open) this folder by double click this folder.

You can classify your sound data by different folder, for example, If you have some sound datas belong to different categories, e.g. interviews, musics, inspirations, and streaming audio. you can build directory name like interviews, musics, inspirations and streaming. then you can use this function to select corresponding folder name and store your sound data there.

  • Select sound quality option.

You can set sound quality based on the quality of your sound source. My experience tells me "22050, mono" is enough for human voice recording. If you record sound of CD-like quality, you can choose 44100, stereo. (44100 or 22050 are merely sample rate.)
