Q:What
is the difference between this program and other windows recorder?
A: Unlike other programs in
which you have to name a file first, this MP3 Recorder XP has an
automatic naming system. It enables you to record immediately by
just one click! MP3 Recorder XP records sound directly into MP3
files. It does not generate a temporary WAV file. After recording,
the resulting mp3 files are listed in listbox and sorted by date.
And Release 1.8 introduces an innovative mp3 tagging system. It
allows you attach unlimited notes to each mp3 file.
Q: What is the new tagging
system?
A: A short history here, when
i first develop this program, the main purpose is to record my everyday
thoughts as voice diary. in order to identify which mp3 file is
the one i want to play. i must add some notes within it. first,
i rely on ID3TAG V1 which is limited to 128 char. so i can only
add title to it. Second, i do a lot of research of ID3TAG V2 which
can tag 256M relevant informations. but after my long time test,
its writting speed is so slow, especially in the first time writting.
i can't be bearable of its slow writting speed. so i decide to define
my own format to tag relevant notes to mp3 file. After several days
hard work, i succeed. the writting speed is far more than id3tag
v2. and the tag size is actually no limit. i can tell you the trick
why my tagging format is more faster than id3tag v2, because id3tag
v2 is written in the head of audio file. when its first writting
to audio file, it must move the whole file to left the occuption.
unfortuntely, the audio file is typcally long. My tagging format
is written at the end of the audio file, so it needn't to alter
the original mp3 audio file. so its fast.
Q: Does it need windows
codec to encode and decode mp3 file?
A: No. MP3 Recorder XP has
built-in encoder and decoder. its decoder is based on the madplay
24bit integrated decoder. the encoder is famous lame encoder. the
advantage to use built-in decoder is its stablility and not rely
on the version of windows. so this program is compatible of any
windows.
Q: What is the system requirement?
A: You will need a Pentium
200 PC or higher, 32MB RAM or more. The operating system should
be Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME or Windows XP
even Win95. Of course, you'd better have a microphone. If
not, you can also use MP3 Recorder XP. See "How to use"
for details.
Q: How to register?
A: After you have paid the
MP3 Recorder XP registration fee and received a registration code
by email, enter your name in your name textbox
and registration code in the Registration Code textbox, then
click Unlock button and the limit will be removed.
The registration fee is ONLY $15.00.
If you have not yet paid the MP3 Recorder XP registration fee, you
can also record less
than 100 seconds per

Q: Is your online

A: Yes, it is 100% secure.
¡¡
Q: Do I have to pay

A: No! All upgrades are free
to registered MP3 Recorder XP users.
Q: Is tech support
free?
A: Yes! It's free for all.
feel free to contact sutony@yahoo.com

A: MP3 Recorder XP costs only
$15 for the option of email registration.
Q: Where does MP3 Recorder XP store sound data?
A: The default directory is
c:\programs files\MP3 Recorder XP\sounddata. but you can easily
change sound directory if you like.
Q: Does MP3 Recorder
XP occupy a lot of hard disk space?
A: It depends. MP3 Recorder
XP record sound directly in MP3 file whose size is one tenth of
WAV file. You can calculate the sound data size by yourself. If
you choose 22050, mono option, one hour voice sound approximately
occupies 14.3M disk space. If you use MP3 Recorder XP everyday,
I recommend you install MP3 Recorder XP in your largest disk partition.
¡¡
Q: How to set my windows
fonts (DPI setting)?
A: whatever you set you fonts
to small fonts( DPI normal size) or large fonts(DPI large size).
the MP3 Recorder XP will fix its size to 640*480.
and the inside fonts will change.
I recommand you use small fonts here.
